Can this weekend get any crazier? Essence Philippines just announced over social media that it is marking down the products in its regular line for up to 20%, and trend edition (limited edition) products up to 50%!

I absolutely love Essence products. They are super affordable, usually have adorable packaging, have a super wide range and color options, and have gorgeous high quality.

My top picks would be the Silky Touch Blushes, Gel Eyeliner, All About Matt line, Stay All day line, their nail polishes and eyeshadows.

L’Oreal Philippines The Great L’Oreal Sale

L’Oreal Paris Philippines is holding the Great L’Oreal Sale. According to the company, all True Match Foundations are only P600, all Color Riche lipsticks are only P400, and all Super Liner Eyeliners are only P400. This promo runs from May 1-31, 2015.

I personally can't wait to get my hands on multiple shades of the True Match Foundation, so I can finally highlight and contour with just liquid foundation. I have never tried a Color Riche lipstick, too, so this is the perfect time to check that out.

I wish the True Match powders were included in the sale, though. Oh well, maybe some other time.

Watsons Philippines 3-Day Sale

On times like these, when there are sales left and right, I just want to say to the beauty companies: just shut up and take my wallet. Seriously, aren't all these sales just INSANE?! With Maybelline, Revlon, and Covergirl having discounts, here comes Watsons with a tempting treat of its own.

I've already stopped by the Watsons nearest to me, and brands like Fashion21, Nichido, and Ever Bilena have laid out their goodies in neat little tables near the entrance. I had to tell my heart to stop pounding so incessantly with excitement! I'm definitely going back there this weekend.

Some awesome goodies I spotted were bundle packs from Fashion 21 and Nichido, some products contained in which aren't even sold separately. I stupidly left my Advantage card somewhere so I'm not sure if I'll be able to get discounts. Nonetheless, even if I don't end up buying anything, I think it's just lovely to browse around and leave with a few swatches on my arm.

Covergirl Philippines Mascara Madness Sale

And the sales are just rolling in, one after the other. This time, it's Covergirl Philippines, which is selling the Lash Blast Volume Mascara for a mere P100, from its regular price of P450. The catch is, it is available only at selected branches at selected hours, so you better wish the branch near you is part of the promo. I personally prefer the brush of the cult favorite Clump Crusher, but the Lash Blast Volume isn't half bad. And for P100, it's even cheaper than many Ever Bilena or Nichido mascaras that many who are on a budget go for. This promo is definitely a steal! Now if only Covergirl Philippines slashes the price of the Outlast Foundation, or the new Ready Set Gorgeous line, or my beloved Clump Crusher...

Revlon Philippines 50% off (May 15-17, 2015)

Is it just me, or are beauty brands here in the Philippines going crazy with sales lately? Many got into a frenzy with Nivea's price cuts, and Maybelline Philippines is slashing up to 50% off some of their products. Now Revlon Philippines is doing the same!

Revlon, for me, is one of the pricier U.S. drugstore makeup brands available here in the Philippines, so sales like these are definitely good news. It's too bad the Revlon Lip Butter, the Revlon Nearly Naked Powder, and the Revlon Colorstay Foundation--my top picks from the brand--aren't included. I would have gotten multiple shades as backup if they lowered the price by that much.

Still, if you're looking to take advantage of the sale, the Revlon Colorburst Balm Stain, the Revlon Cream Blush, and the Revlon Highlighting Palette are all worth checking out.

Maybelline holds a special place in my heart as one of those brands which come up with truly high-quality products at budget-friendly prices. I love that they often hold sales, so I tend to hoard during those times, and hold off on other occasions.

Maybelline Philippines May Makeup Madness Sale

My top picks from Maybelline Philippines include The Rocket, The Falsies, and the Hypercurl mascaras, the Gel Eyeliner (in both brown and black), the Dream Bouncy Blushes, and the Watershine and Colorsensational Lipsticks, the Baby Skin Pore Eraser, and the Clear Shine Pressed Powder. Other Maybelline products I have tried aren’t in my holy grail list, but they have never disappointed me, like the new White Superfresh Powder, the Clear Smooth All in One Powder Foundation, and the various Babylips. Unfortunately, some of my favorites from the brand are not included in the discount.

That said, there are lots of Maybelline products I haven’t tried and I am curious about, like the Dream Liquid Mousse foundation, the Color Tattoos, and the Maybelline Hypersharp Wing Liner. For products like these, sales are especially great, so thank you, Maybelline Philippines!
